John Murphy: What Do You See? You know how before, movie always used Clint Mansell’s Lux Æterna from the Requiem for a Dream (dir. Darren Aronofsky) score in trailers and particularly epic scenes? They’re giving What Do You See? from Sunshine (dir. Danny Boyle) the same treatment, now.
As I scoured the Internet for the appropriate clips, I found a couple blog posts that make the same point better than I would have. Not that I was planning on going into more detail.

The Velvet Underground - Heroin I first heard this song when I was eleven years old, and it changed my perspective on music. It might be dramatic to say it changed my life, but I can’t help but feel that way. I don’t know how, but exposure to the Velvet Underground has a lot to do with who I am. This is one of those songs I could listen to on repeat and never tire of.
